About Splendora Motocross Park

Splendora Motocross Park, located north of Houston in Splendora TX, originally began as San Jacinto Cycle Park _ owned, built and managed by the Favor family. In late June of 2006, the facilities were purchased by Antonio Pacheco of New Jersey. As the father of a national quad motocross racer, "Tony" wanted a place where his son and friends could ride their quads and dirt bikes, training throughout the year on an awesome track in a family-oriented atmosphere. After riding the track at Splendora, they wanted it.

With the assistance of Dee and Michele Manshack, friends of the Favors who have extensive experience with the track as well as racing on a local and national level, Tony purchased the facilities and hired Michele as its manager.

They immediately began purchasing heavy equipment and making plans to create Splendora Motocross Park _ the best facility available for families to have fun in the dirt!

Whether you race dirt bikes or quads (motocross, cross country or drags) _ or don't even race at all, but just like to ride or let your kids ride _ Splendora Motocross Park is the place to bring your family and friends for camping and recreational fun.

Splendora Motocross Park currently includes 168 acres with a main track and parking area. The main track is currently about 1.8 miles long with sandy, loamy dirt mixed with clay. It's a  wide open motocross track with long straights and elevation changes that offer challenges for all skill levels. This track will be open Friday thru Sunday, 9-5, for practice, except on race days. Additional practice days may be added. The track is prepped before practice, and quads can practice after noon.

Additional tracks, including a Mini track for young riders and a track for drag racing, are coming soon. Future plans include tracks for dirt bikes, quads and minis to each separately practice on.

Also coming soon will be a concession stand, RV camping sites, a swimming and beach area, trails for riding, and more. With part of the land on the East Fork of the San Jacinto River, fishing is also an option.

Plus, annual track memberships will soon be available. There's lots happening at Splendora Motocross Park, so come check it out!
